Last month I bought this large painting. I'm very happy with it, it look very nice in my house. Does someone knows the painter? The previous owners had bought it from an old captain from a dredged boat. They gave it to hime as a gift.

Chinese, dated 1995, with a lengthy title describing the scene. Can't quite make out the artist's name from this photo, perhaps a closeup will help if I. Nagy hasn't already read it

李忠 Li Zhong (Signature of painter)
画題　Title of Picture
李忠之印　Seal of Li Zhong
Seal at the bottom,
江山如畫　　Rivers and Mountains as if on the picture (Seal with the artist`s motto）

The year seems to be 乙亥 (1995) rather than 己亥 (1959)

Artist's name from both signature and seal is Li Zhong 李忠; the seal that Mikeoz has read is a leisure seal (it contains an aphorism or nickname the artist likes), in this case reading "streams and mountains akin/compare to paintings"
