Subject:Help determining the value of 14" bowl

This was bought 40 years ago in Toronto along with many antiques.
Is it an antique? Maybe made during communist era?
What would be the asking price?

It's not a refined thin ceramic...rather like a family-diner dish quality & thickness.

Swirl stamps and edging is brushed gold color.
Lots of emotion in the people and story being told.
