Subject:Translation - signture/writing on Qianlong ivory figure

Greetings!
I picked up a few items form the local antique show - this looks to be quite a fine Qianlong period ivory figure.

When I removed it off the base, I saw it had writing - I'm hoping it is an artist name and/or the name of the person depicted.

Some help with a translation of the writing would be greatly appreciated.

Reading of the cutter`s name,
大埜寮民　-　Ǒno Ryōmin
Japanese artist.
I could not find the name on the net.
