Subject:Today's mystery object... ???

Posted By: Chris Sun, Apr 22, 2018 Thanks for the ideas gents. The motorbike seat suggestion seems unlikely given its size but I do go along with idea that it is the base to something.. I was hoping the stamp to its base might be recognised. Seems posdible that a spindle or some such was supported at its ends by the notches?
