Subject:I need help identifying this tiger silk painting
Posted By: Nicole E Sat, Jun 02, 2018 IP: 96.241.68.152 I need help trying to identify exactly what this silk painting is and who it’s by. My father had this on his wall as a kid, so its old, but he can’t remember where he had gotten it. When I tried to google similar items nothing came up. I’d love to know more about it and I’d really appreciate any help. Thank you.

Posted By: rat Sun, Jun 03, 2018 There was a Japanese painter of tigers, 三尾吳石 (1884-1946), who signed with this name, but this does not look like the examples of his work online, so I'm not sure what's going on.
