Subject:Tianhuang seal translation

I have a 5 1/2" tianhuang stone seal that I'd appreciate help in translating both the script and the seal script base. Many thanks for your help.

Dated eighth month of 1663, the year after the KangXi emperor's accession.

Stone doesn't look yellow enough to be Tianhuang.

Carving reads 軍漢之家。

Will continue looking at rest of the side carving later.

Have doubts this is genuine.

Inscription on the side,
清康煕癸卯八月 - Qing (Dynasty) Kangxi (Title of Reign) Water-Rabit Year (1663) August
今釋行書 巻 道隠 ‐New Release in Semi-Cursive Style - "The Hidden Way" (Title of a book)

Seal scipt,
軍漢之家 - House of Military

With regards,
I.Nagy

Many thanks to both responders for their valuable insight and translations. As to color, from what I understand, tianhuang stone comes in a variety of amber colors as well as the more valuable golden. I like to believe it is genuine because of the incredible translucence of the stone. If it was a fake, a lesser grade of stone would have been used.

Not necessarily. I have a large chicken blood stone seal with a lengthy side carving, which on research proved that the seal is in fact a forgery.

Luckily for me, the value of the stone is quite considerable in its own right.

I agree the translucency of the stone indicates quality, but in my research, a true huangtian is a clear yellow.

Thanks again for your interest. I refer you to Sotheby's 07Apr2015 Hong Kong lot 3687 of a Qing tianhuang seal that is identical in color to mine. It sold for 875,000 HKD or approx. $110,000.00. As to mine being a forgery, experience tells me no but I could be wrong. I'm not sure how to authenticate it without having to pay an exorbitant fee and shipping it to someone I'm unfamiliar with. Again, thanks for your input.
