Posted By: Bill H Fri, Sep 28, 2018 Your cylinder vase, which some might call a "hat stand", has a mark (shown resting on its right side) of Made by Wan Songmao (萬松茂造 - Wan Song mao zao). He was a Jingdezhen porcelain painter of the Republic era (1912-49), whose wares are well known on the web in China (See Chinese language site at link for example). Judging by the brassy gilt trim on your vase, I'd say it dates to circa 1930. |
