Can someone please confirm/validate if this is authentic? Ever seen this before?

Atmost the end of the Shang Dynasty. The appearance is extraordinary.

What is the target price? I wasn't able to find it yet.

Very unlikely to be Shang dynasty, as this dynasty ceased about 1500 years before the Buddha was born.

Yes interesting! Thank you all. Within the advertisement it says 15th century, so it probably is Ming Dynasty. I'll inform the seller.

Forget that you ever saw it, most likely Obama dynasty. Made for tourists.

Are you sure you posted the right pics? This looks like a modern carved turquoise stone figure of a boy mounted on a steer.

Buddhism did not exist during the Shang dynasty. I'd assume this is a modern carving

Bhudda ?
The figure represents the founder of Taoism Lao Tse (Laozi), leaving China for the west on a water-buffalo.
