Subject:Can anyone translate this seal?
Posted By: Sally Wed, Jan 16, 2019 IP: 92.6.43.102 This is a carved ivory seal, I've been told it's late Ming or early Ching. As you can see one of the characters has been erased. |

Posted By: rat Wed, Jan 23, 2019 Thanks for the added photo. The mark seems to read 易安亭X之記, where the first three characters are the owner's studio name, which refers to the peace obtained by reading the Book of Changes. I don't see anything obvious about the owner online though. |
