Subject:About a chinese porcelain dragoon as incense burner
Posted By: Luciano Fri, Apr 19, 2019 IP: 193.204.90.105

Hello,
I have found the chinese porcelain dragoon incense burner you can see in the attached pictures (there is a little hole over the head): it is very little but, to me, also well made and painted.
There is a writing/mark at the bottom: please, do you know the meaning of this writing, do you know the factory?
Thanks a lot for your kind help and best regards,
Luciano

Hello,
studying the Gotheborg website, I have understood that the four letters say "Yongzheng Nian Zhi" meaning "Made in Yongzheng Era".
I do not know the age of the statuette but, even if it seems well made to me, I think this is a good XXth century replica.
Best regards,
Luciano
