Help identifying this stone wear Bottle period and the written marks ( Chinese or Japanese )

I'm leaning toward this attractive bottle being Japanese, based on the female figure's bouffant hairstyle, but since I'm coming at this query as a student of Chinese, I'll give you that slant on characters and meaning.

First & Second Pictures Inscription: 探春 - Pinyin "Tan chun" - "An early spring excursion"; [Seal} "石于"? - "shi yu" - (literally "In stone"?)

Third Picture Inscription: 蘭花 - "Lan hua" - Orchid Flower"; 九五年 - "jiu wu nian" - 95th year" (1895?) - 一月 - "Yi yue" - January (first month) - [Seal] "石于"? - "shi yu" (literally "In stone"?)

Hopefully, others will either validate or repudiate my leanings, and add further context to this piece.

Best regards,

Bill H.

In my opinion it is Chinese,
探春 - Tanchun (In quest for spring)
Jia Tanchun 賈探春 is the name one of the major characters in the novel "Dream of the Red Chamber"

With regards,
I.Nagy

Much obliged to you I. Nagy for adding the historic Chinese context that escaped me.
