Have acquired this beautiful Chinese hardwood cabinet and have no idea of what type of wood it is or the approximate age of it! Kindly, requesting to take your time and expertise to denote on the subject matter in which highly would appreciate. Thank you

These cabinets are similar, but they don't belong together. This is what we call a marriage in the trade, but its fairly clear the top cabinet is slightly wider than the one it's on. The moulding is also different, thicker above than it is below. The backing is what really gives it away.
