Subject:Jade pendant

I was wondering if this jade pendant has beenmachine made, or it it possible old? It is 5.25cm in diameter.

Someone messed around with that item, trying to make it look old. Maybe that works fine for the untrained eye.

Difficult to be affirmative without a clear picture of the light reflection on this pendant surface but from carving style and general aspect : most probably an old piece (republic period to late Qing dynasty). Made of some local cheap and soft mineral, not made of precious jade (i.e.not Néphrite nor jadeite). Very crude carving that suggest a “countryside-dish production”. Certainly hand made.
Price accordingly ..
