Hello~
Everyone here is always so helpful, but I want to be sure I am posting to the correct board.
If I am wanting to ask about Asian translations of characters on a piece of art or pottery etc, which board should I post to?
It seems the "Main Forum" and the "Message Board" seems to have similar posts and questions.
I just want to be sure I am sending inquiries for help & info to the right spot.

No idea who moderates this place, but whatever distinction there may have been with respect to information requests does not exist in practice today.

In that area, the most useful thing for those who can help you is to maximize the amount of information about the item that you share. Simply posting a closeup of an inscription or seal is unwelcome, both because it is but one source of information about the item in question, and because it gives those who are able to help almost no incentive to do so.

Thank you, rat, for the reply! After I posted this, I realized what appears to be 2 links, actually seems to go to the same board. If I recall, maybe in the past there were 2 bulletin boards/forums.
Anyway, thank you and everyone here who moderates and contributes to this site. It has helped me so much in identifying art pieces and learning so much!
