Subject:Vase painted in blue on white with figures and writings
Posted By: Luciano Wed, Jan 22, 2020 IP: 84.220.143.110

Hello,
I hope in your help to know the meaning of the writings on this vase painted in blue on white.
It is cm 41 high, I suppose it is from China but there are no marks at the bottom. Obviously, I would like also to know its age (made at the beginning of XXth century?).

Here is the link of the pictures: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5htUP7CygwjU4UFEA

Thanks a lot for your kind attention and best regards,
Luciano

Dear I.Nagy,
Thank You so much for your kind and exhaustive answer. I have read about Dongpo and also... about Wang Bu: I have noticed he is considered a master and so, if possible, I would like an another honest answer... Is this pottery compatible with the Wang Bu style? Was it really made in 1939 by his manufacture?
Thanks again for your help, I hope in this last answer.
Best regards,
Luciano
