Subject:Japnese or Vietnamese Silk Tapestry? - Help

Hi there,
A friend came to me with some tapestries which are made by hand of silk, they were acquired by my friend's father during the Vietnam war.
I have more photos but unfortunately been having trouble uploading them.
Just wanting to know more information about them, where they came from, what they might be worth, and if they are authentic. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
