Subject:Budai old?

I am sifting through my garage for old items and found this Budai metallic figure purchased a decade ago from someone who had inherited from his father who was collector.
It seems to have a golden paint which has gone away now and it is fairly heavy with fine details of cloths, hands, teeth, face etc it is metallic and feels cold on touch.
It has some mark on chest. Not sure if expert can opine what it could be? Or anything related to its origin or age?
