Posted By: Bill H Mon, Aug 31, 2020 The mark 'Yin sheng jia zhi' (寅生佳製) is No. 1563 in the Gerald Davison 'New & Revised Handbook of Marks on Chinese Ceramics' as a Ming Tianqi (1621-1627) mark, translated literally as 'Beautifully made for a respectful life'. |

Posted By: Bill H Mon, Aug 31, 2020 I also found this auction info from 2018 with a somewhat similar dish marked 'Yin sheng jia jing' (寅生佳景), perhaps translatable literally as 'Beautiful prospect for a respectful life'. The piece has a diameter of 15.7cm and height of 2.6cm. |
