The usually authoritative website gotheborg.com has this mark in their archive as 'circa 1970s'. What does the crumpled paper label beneath the mark say?

Thank you. Here is a photo of the sticker. Dad put these on pieces that came out of Hong Kong in the 50s. Mom who is still alive said they got it as a gift in Hong Kong in 56-58 did not remember the exact date or who. So that would date it long before the 1970s? Has been in a box all this time. It will be interesting to research further. Appreciate your help.

After seeing the PRC label, I trust the 50s dating. Western nations including the UK formed a group called the 'Coordinating Committee' or CoCom after World War II, which levied special tariffs on products from communist bloc countries, including China. Since the Brits controlled Hong Kong, this is the sort of labeling that would have been required for customs purposes.

Best regards,

Bill H.
