hello danny

I am looking at your jade and I think it is actually jade.
however it looks dyed. the white film "the skin of the jade" brought by the humidity of the soil is absent. the dipping line is regular and the lines of the carvings appear deep and made by a modern tool.
again this is just my opinion. on the other hand, i think your play is not too bad, it is just that i present it recently.

have a good day

Hi Roberts,
Thank you for your comment. This jade piece was modern or not , still a good piece of art work. I will post of close up pictures of some tool marks to see if it was old or modern.
Have a great day!

Danny

I have seen this carving before or at least one very similar to it.
In my opinion it's a modern carving from the 2nd half of the 20th century.
When posting jades it's important to also include pictures of the base/underside.

Thank you Mark for your comment. I bought this piece because of the win color and the artistic style. The tool marks is not from modern power tools. This piece is called Fairy boy riding the beast ( common in eastern Han). I will post a few more pictures for you.

Danny
