Subject:Antique Painted Tin

I’ve had this painted tin box (?) for years and have no idea what it is. It was my grandmother’s. It’s about 18” high with the lid. Any idea what it is? Thanks!

It"s a Chinese tea caddy (tea container). Probably no older than first half 20th century

Just seeing this reply now; thank you! I never would have guessed it was a tea caddy. It seems far too large. Now I know!
