Hello. Would anyone be able to identify the artist of the picture here. It does not appear to be a recent work and is on hessian type material. Also, any details on the subject matter would be great.

There is no signature of artist.

Thank you so much for your kind and quick reply. I am very pleased with the information. May I ask in your opinion do you think the painting is Japanese or Korean.

The painting is most certainly Korean.
Japanese painters seldom paint pictures on Korean heroes who fought against Japan.
