Subject:Identify found Asian plate in sand on a beach

Hello all, this brass plate (I think it’s brass) was found half buried in a beach in east coast Canada. I had the art work sketched so it is easier to view. If anyone can point me in the right direction for more answers it would be most helpful. Thanks
