Can anyone help me with reading the signature and seal? Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

Signature,
光子寫　- Mitsuko -sha - Painted by Mitsuko
Seal,
みつこ　- Mitsuko (Female given name)

Box,
光二筆　-　Kōji -hitsu - Painted by Kōji
春の里　- Haru no sato - Village in spring

Presumably, the person who made the inscription on the box, erroneously read the second character of the signature "子"　ko as "二"　ji , ignoring the clear seal imprint which reads "みつこ"　Mitsuko.

However, artist with this name is unidentifiable.

Thank you very much, Nagy for the correct explanation. The seller had read the signature (or the writing on the back) as Hikari Uma (?).

The first character in Japanese does have several readings
光　hikari,akari, mitsu / kō (mitsu is used in names) = light, ray, bright
子　ko / shi, su = child
光子　Mitsuko - Female given name

寫　utsusu / sha is to paint
馬　uma / ba, ma is horse - similar to paint but different

Japanese is not an easy language.
