Subject:Willow tree Bodhisativa
Posted By: sharon smith Wed, Jun 29, 2022 IP: 2603:8001:800:3237:8 I have a statue (stone) of a Willow tree Quan Yin and I am trying to find out where it could be from and when made? Would holes in the bottom indicate that it came from a temple? |

Posted By: Stan Wed, Jun 29, 2022 I believe the holes were used to attach it to a base. Note that the base on ours is a slightly darker color of soapstone. Ours is modern. We bought it for $40 in a local shop because we thought it would look interesting on our shelf. |
