4 years ago, I inherited a Burmese Buddha from my mother. She purchased it in 2003 from Paul Morse in Ipswich, MA.
Unfortunately, that is all I know about it. I would like to know more.
First question I have, is Paul Morse still in business/alive? I have tried to contact via the email I have from my mom's correspondence with him, but it is no longer a valid email address.
Apparently, Paul was an intermediary between my mother and an gentleman named Tom. She was only allowed to purchase this Buddha after meeting with Tom and getting his okay.
Second question is how to know how old it is. It is carved wood and appears to be very, very old.
Any leads would be appreciated.
