I have a Japanese enameled vase with a mark on the base for which I would like translation - paid or otherwise.

Also, does anyone have any ideas on the decorative style and age? I assume that the bird is a crane. The body/enamel has texture - almost quilted.

something akin to 京都松捕造 (made by Matsu-something of Kyoto) but I am not getting any hits on that. The fourth character is somewhat abraded, making it a bit of a guessing game.

It is a so-called Awata-Kyō ware.
