Subject:Horse Medal
Posted By: Charles Sat, Sep 10, 2022 IP: 71.112.198.32 Good evening, I recently got this medal with a horse on it at a yard sale. I did some research on it but couldn't find any that were the same. The biggest thing I've noticed is I can't find any with the same tail. I was wondering if anyone had any info on it or knows what the back says. Thank you for your time

Posted By: I.Nagy Sat, Sep 10, 2022 This is a Korean Horse Warrant (Ma P`ae) for use of one saddle horse. Ma P`ae was a warrrant that permitted the use of government horses kept at post stations around the country upon presenting this special warrant such as this one.
