The artist mark says the piece was made by Zoshuntei Sampo, a 19th century Japanese producer of fine porcelains. See the below link.

Best regards,

I picked up the pronunciation of the name "Sampo" after "Zoshuntei" somewhere along the way because it is used frequently by such revered sources as the British Museum and a number of well known auction houses. Having become reacquainted since returning from my health-related absence from the forum last year to enjoy the welcome wisdom of I.Nagy and other Japanese savants, I shall now endeavor to get back on track with the name "Sanpo" and other alternatives recognized by authoritative language sources. "San" is the primary Japanese reading found for "三" in the Unihan Data base, while only Tang Dynasty, Korean and Cantonese employed phonetic pronunciations similar to "Sam".

Cheers,

Bill H.

The URL link below shows a couple of my Japanese zoshuntei-signed pieces at the bottom, a cologne bottle like one of yours and a large dragon vase on an unsigned pedestal. The pedestal isn’t an original partner piece to the jar but of a quality I associate with the Fukugawa kilns at Mikawachi.

Best regards,
