Dear I NAGY

Thank you very much for your time and for your expert answers!
I think this is one of my best quality carved celadon tea pot I have, I have never seen no porcelain signed by the artist next to the porcelain mark , do you think it's something special?
I don't have a clue about Korean pottery, even if I have been tried to research it, as I read about the Japanese or Chinese kidnapped Korean artist long before at war , and taken methods from Korean, not remember clearly but it may happened in palsam long ago !

Do you know more about this artist or this place where have been made this pot , just trying to get some date on it ?

Many thanks
Kings Regards

John

Dear John,
Just a little addendum to my posting of yesterday.
It is not widely known for outsiders that the modern "only Hangul" Korean woke culture has completely banished the use of Chinese characters (Hanja) from Korean language search engines, so in case of Korean scripts written with Hanjas there`s not much to learn about. Despite the fact that Hanjas are still widely used to this day by artists in their signatures, seals, colophons, titles, markings etc.
The characters in the name Seok-hyeon 石峴
may be more of a place name than a given mname. Such a place name is found in North Korea, not far from Seoul on the north side of demarcation line. DPR of Korea also produces ceramics for export.
Of course this is only a hypothesis.
Regards,
I.Nagy
