Subject:Old vase or new
Posted By: Angelina Sun, Apr 09, 2023 IP: 2a02:587:b945:cf85:f Hi to everyone who can help, today I bought this vase in Greece on flea market . The vase was used as a lamp and lamp was glued inside the vase . The owner removed since he told me people he thinks will be more interested buying a vase than lamp . He had a difficulty’s removing all glue . |

Posted By: Bill H Mon, Apr 10, 2023 The decoration and off-center stamped mark of "Made during the Qianlong reign" coincides with what's found on other vases identified by gotheborg.com as made in the 1970s or later. I'd refine that period as fourth quarter or later, after Mao Zidong's death ended the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in 1976 and economic reforms were instituted under the leadership of formerly persecuted official Deng Xiaoping. |
