Posted By: Peter Mon, Jan 15, 2024 IP: 47.153.229.167 Hello,This artwork was brought over to the U. S. from Japan. I have asked friends who read Japanese and Chinese characters to translate/read the characters. There is an indication this is not Japanese, but an ancient form of Chinese writing. The canvas of the painting appears to be silk, although I am not sure. I am trying to find the origin or history of this artwork, or the artist. Thanks for any help, Pete
