Subject:HOKUSAI ORIGINAL
Posted By: RPeters Mon, Aug 26, 2024 IP: 76.145.60.167

Hi,
I need help identifying my art piece. It looks to be a Hokusai original from 1830-1840. Its title is unknown, as well as to which collection it belongs. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. Click on the link below to see pics. I've been told it is from the EDO Period.

Your print(s) appear to be a pair of ehon/book pages (2&3) from the book Santo meisho ichiran 三都名所一覧 by Totoya Hokkei 魚屋北渓 (1780-1850). See the link below for more information.

What you have are pages 2 & 3 (note the vertical joining line down the center) from a book/ehon titled: Santo meisho ichiran 三都名所一覧. The artist is Totoya Hokkei 魚屋北渓 (1780-1850).

There may be a problem with this list. I responded to this posting days ago. However, I couldn't see/access my response. So, I responded a second time. Now, I see both.

Cheers,
Stan
