Kadoha Kanzaemonn (角羽勘左衛門）started a copperware wholesale business in 1790 under the store name “Habiroya”.
It is said that he had craftsmen in Takaoka produce and sell Buddhist altar fittings, candlesticks, flower vases, braziers, etc. to the Kansai region.
