Subject: jade Butterfly
Posted By: Vicky Hones Sat, Dec 09, 2006 IP: 202.180.105.104 Could anyone tell me about this piece of Jade that I have it is exactly the same on both sides I had the silver piece added so I could wear it as a necklace, the only history I have is my Father found it whilst digging up our back garden in london england 56 years ago in about 25 feet of soil whilst he was digging foundations for our house, I thought it looked like a fairy but people who have seen it said it looked more like a butterfly there is a crack where the rust colour is and also down the bottom it looks like there is a crack or flaw inside the jade thanks for taking the time to look Vicky
