Subject:Info Needed on Tapestry

Our grandparents bought this tapestry and we don't know much about it. Can anyone help us? I've attached 3 photos. There does not appear to be a signature on it, but the tapestry is framed and could be hiding under the frame.

Where is the best place near Los Angeles for us to go for an appraisal?

Your photos did not post. But if you are near Los Angeles, perhaps the curatorial department of the LA Museum of Art can point you to a textile specialist. The Huntington may also be able to make a suggestion.
