I would truly appreciate help on identifying this chest. It was shipped to the US in 1905 and has a
really old label inside (written in what looks like Chines maybe). It has no dragons in the carvings and is supposedly a wedding scenario. The wood is camphor.

Jill,

You have described everything except its size and configuration (hinged lid? drawers?). What is it that you want to identify? If you provide photos, good close-ups showing any metal fittings (lock, hinges, corner braces) would be helpful.
