Subject:ivory statues

I have several ivory statues that were obtained by my father-in-law during his 30 year stint in the Navy. The pieces, I would guess, are at least 50 years old, maybe older. They are solid ivory and look to be either Japanese or Chinese. He obtained them in Hong Kong. They are very intricate and delicate looking. I was wondering about their value as neither of us is interested in keeping them and I would like to sell them to anyone who would be interested.
