This bowl is a miracle.A very competent expert of islamic art excluded an islamic origin.
The chinese art experts I asked have never seen before a piece like this and mentioned song period or changsha origin.Who can help?

Nothing too fanciful or mysterious about this one I'm afraid. It's a lower quality Chinese kitchen Qing dish decorated with block stamped design. Made in South China, they were exported by the millions throughout South East Asia and can also be found where Chinese immigrant labor worked in the 19th century whether it be on the rail road in California or the gold mines in Australia. Identical style dishes were recovered from the 19th century Tek Sing shipwreck.
