Subject:minature ivory elephants in coffee bean

I have a very old piece of art that no one seems to know anything about. It is a ivory carving of minature elephants that fit into a hollow coffee bean with a carving of an elephant as the top holding it together. Does this sound like anything anyone has seen before? Please help me to identify this. Thanks, Christy

I have one of these, too. My father brought it back from Thailand, many years ago. The more tiny elephants in it, the more luck it brings. Or so they say.

Do you know any other history about this? I can not find anything anywhere about it. I have looked numerous places and have even brought it to a museum and can not get any answers.
If you know anything else about it please let me know. Thank you for your response!
