This is a Chinese storage jar made int he Shiwan area of South China. Dates to the late 19th century to early 20th century. Still very common and widely distributed wherever Chinese immigrant labor traveled.

This a utility jar possibly made south China for long time, yours I think 20th century but some may have other idea to age. You don't say size.

Very little value I'm afraid. Certainly not for investment. Decorator or a unique display item is fine. Still very common.
