Subject:Relic

Hello,
I have come across this very unusual object which has been in the possession of an Indian family (India) for several generations. The materials are Tiger Eye, Pearl, Ruby, Large Crystal of Quartz, and carved alabaster. There are "Buddha-like" circles made of brass. The Tibetan style "domes" on the sides are made of brass. The large stone on the top is possibly Rose Quartz??
Top to bottom is nine inches. Any one of you experts out there have any ideas as to what it is and how much it's worth?
Thx.

At first I thought could be pommel of an edged weapon, but seeing the tang was decorated on one side suggests used as part of statue of some kind.

Have not seen the 'vajra' thunderbolt treated quite that way before.

'Several generations' would go back to around year 1900, British Raj period, look like possibly that style to me. Others will know more.

Good luck,
Cal
