Subject:trying to figure out what it is

hi there. Im trying to track down the origin/etc of an item I picked up in Australia about 12 years ago. I dont have any pictures of it online so it really makes things a challenge..
i was told it was a ceremonial incense burner from the Indonesion area, though now, as at the time I have doubts on that.
Its a carved wooden dragon about 18" long. It is gold leafe with cut green glas for scales, it has smaller peices of glass (or some stone) for eyes and trim. The wings and tail are detachable. It has holes for incense behind the head.
