Posted By: Gert Thu, Apr 03, 2008 No doubt about it:It is an authentic chien-lung period (18th century) chinese bronze of Amitayus and belongs to a huge quantity of similar bronzes, which were made for a birthday event of the chien-lung emperor.That tells also the inscription. |

Also it is good to see the engraving on the front. Also large in size. I suspect it should be worth 6-8 thousand British pounds. Take it to a proper auction house for valuation. |
