Subject:reproduction?
Posted By: deb Tue, Jun 24, 2008 IP: 70.105.182.222 I've been researching this marking for a while. The only thing I have come up with is that I believe it may be a reproduction mark from the Qianlong period, maybe 1970's? I haven't found any pots anywhere that look like this. I'm probably just not looking in the right place. Any help out there? Thanks, Deb

Posted By: PyroManiac Tue, Jun 24, 2008 Yes the mark is Qianlong and thevase is a modern reproduction. Not really a malicious fake but a modern decorative piece with an old mark which is a common practice.
