Subject:Antique Indian art pieces

1. I have part of a wood carved panel reportedly a scene from the Wedding of Lord Krishna, 16th Cent. So. India, Purchased from an auction in Calcutta in 1957;
2. A death mask of a Maratha soldier, reportdly 17th Cent. purchase from an anitque dealer behind the Taj in Bombay in 1974.
I would like to prove authenticity and to learn of any interest in the articles.
