Subject:Casting Mark

Could someone please help me identify this casting mark. It is located on the foot of elephant with a Buddha on the top.

it's tilted over a bit in the photo, but is the Chinese character "zheng", Japanese "sei". not 100% sure of the context here but it likely is an inspection stamp of some sort, meaning "correct", or "passed".
