Subject:Casserol pot

Would anybody be able to shed some light on what they think might be the make and how old they think this pot might be. The shape looks like a western casserol pot but the design looks very oriental. The markings from under the pot looks very scrubbed out and as such I am unable to tell exactly

yes these are used in contemporary Japan for winter dishes, particularly things like nabe that cook in water
