We have a chest from our late father. It was purchased from George Zee and Co. It has a tag showing number 58-43741. I would like to know more about it and it's potential value.

If you do a search for George Zee on this website you should see multiple discussions. From what postings there are the furniture does not seem to be worth much as far as antique goes it evidently isn't old enough to be worth much.

If you are interested in selling and can post an image people seem to be looking. Worth really just seems to depend on condition and if people like the carving.

Potential value? Made 1958. In 50 years will be antique. Then owner can see if wood warped, construction holds true, finish not darkened or crazed.
