Hello all,
I really do not know who to start this but I will try. My father passed and has left about 40-50 pieces of jade, ivory and bronze Chinese and Japanese art. Can anyone please tell me an honest place to get these pieces assets and where I might be able to fine honest buyers for them?
Thanks for taking time to reading and responding to this post.

You might try I.M. Chait located in Beverly Hills, CA. I've been to some of their auctions and they seem to get pretty good prices and draw a discerning crowd. I haven't used them to sell any of my pieces however as they specialize in Chinese antiques (I collect Japanese). You can call them to arrange an appointment or I believe they accept photos via email.

You can also visit Bonham's on Sunset Blvd. They also deal in asian antiques.

Another note about I.M. Chait. I was incorrect in writing that they specialize in Chinese antiques. They also deal in a large quantity of netsuke...which is japanese. So, stopping at both places would give you a pretty good sense of the value of your father's collection. Although what they give you is auction estimates not retail/insurance values.

My condolesences on the loss of your father.
